Anxiety and Stress Stress and anxiety are common issues in society today, most of us encounter them at some point in our busy lives. We can naturally deal with a certain amount of stress, in fact it can often be beneficial, motivating us. However when we exceed our 'safe levels' of stress problems can occur. Phobias A phobia is an anxiety disorder which causes intense and irrational fear, at its worse a phobia can cause panic attacks and may severely affect your quality of life.

Our brain has at some point perceived a threat and used the flight or flight response to keep us safe. This pattern is then 'saved' in our brain ready for next time, thinking it is keeping us safe, although you know it is irrational you cannot get control of it. Hypnotherapy is a gentle way to rewrite this pattern and give you the freedom to move forward.
-Non-Specific Phobias For example, Claustropia and Agoraphobia (fear of closed space or open spaces) where a person avoids shopping, crowds, concerts, social situations, and may become so badly affected that they can no longer leave their home. A person with a non-specific phobia will often have high levels of anxiety that need to be addressed first. To treat these we work on reducing anxiety, helping you take control of your life.
