Are you fed up of being overweight? Constantly yo-yo dieting, you have probably tried every diet under the sun, some with success, but only later to find you have put the weight back on and some more.
Hypnotherapy for Weight Loss is highly effective in aiding weight loss and enhancing confidence and self-esteem. By tapping into the subconscious mind and eliminating subconscious barriers while reprogramming negative thought patterns, hypnotherapy empowers individuals to cultivate a more positive self-image and elevate their self-worth. When combined with sound nutritional guidance, it becomes an unbeatable combination for achieving optimal health and vitality.
I am sure you have already tried a number of solutions throughout your years, from low calorie shake diets, group sessions and trying increasing your activity levels, only to find that your motivation is lost very quickly, and the odd breakthrough you have had, has then lead to more weight being gained once you stopped!
✅ Cultivate a Positive Mindset: Understand the connection between your thoughts and behaviours and how they influence your brain and your hormones and hunger levels.
✅ Retrain Your Conscious Mind: Learn techniques to promote a more positive mindset, leading to lasting improvements in mood, health, vitality and your weight.
✅ Work on the Subconscious: Through hypnotherapy your neuro pathways are re-balanced in your brain, restoring inner peace, harmony, and a sense of calm and confidence.
✅ Flexible Session Duration: Each session typically lasts 1 hour, but to ensure ample time and a relaxed experience, I allow up to 1.5 hours.
✅ In-Person or Remote Options: You can choose to have the sessions at my private and serene location in Stow-on-the-Wold or remotely via Zoom. All you need is a quiet space to talk and a comfortable spot to relax during trance.
✅ Psychotherapy and Solution-Focused Approach: The first part of the session involves talking therapy, where we explore how you envision yourself feeling when you are truly happy with yourself, feeling slim, fit and healthy, emphasising forward-focused strategies to achieve positive outcomes.
✅ Embracing Trance: In the second part of the session, we delve into trance, inducing a deep, relaxed state that allows your brain to be highly receptive to positive suggestions. This helps to re-balance neuro pathways, fostering feelings of calmness, relaxation, and confidence.
✅ Positive Transformation: As the session concludes, you'll leave feeling lighter and brighter, fully equipped to maintain this positive mindset and outlook in the days ahead.

“I had struggled with my weight all my life. I can’t begin to imagine how much money I’ve spent on gimmicky diet aids and at huge expense, I’ve tried every fad diet that’s been on the market in the last 20 years! My despair had reach boiling point. I was starving and binging, and my weight would drop by 2 or 3lbs only to increase again by 4 or 5lbs. I was getting fatter and fatter.
Not only that I really didn’t like myself. I was angry, anxious and frustrated and felt I was a failure. A friend suggested hypnotherapy and mentioned Lisa saying she had heard Lisa had produced some great results. I was so desperate to try anything I put aside by cynical doubts about the effectiveness of hypnotherapy and braced myself for what I thought would be another time and money wasting exercise
Wow how wrong I was! Very quickly everything changed. I’d stopped craving foods, stopped overeating and didn’t feel as if I was on a diet. I’d lost a stone and a half in just 3 months. But even more important I liked myself, I was happy. The anger, frustration and anxiety had gone, and I am really enjoying my life and my diet. Yes of course you need to put some effort in to make sure you are preparing and eating healthy foods and breaking some of the habits that have been entrenched for years but for the first time in my life it didn’t feel hard work and I was enjoying the process of getting fitter and losing weight.
Lisa has helped me so much on so many different levels. Her skill at picking up the key issues and addressing them through hypnotherapy never ceases to amaze me . I feel like a normal very happy person managing my energy intake rather than a frenzied frustrated anxious failure - Thank you Lisa“.
“During a hypnotherapy session for weight loss, the client is guided into a relaxed state of trance. In this state, the hypnotherapist can access the subconscious mind and introduce positive suggestions and imagery related to healthy eating, exercise, and self-esteem. The client's beliefs and attitudes towards food, their body, and themselves are reframed, creating new, empowering thought patterns. Hypnotherapy can also address emotional eating, stress, and other psychological factors that may contribute to weight gain.
After undergoing hypnotherapy for weight loss, clients often experience a newfound sense of control over their eating habits and lifestyle choices. They may find that they naturally gravitate towards healthier foods and feel more motivated to engage in regular exercise. Cravings for unhealthy foods may diminish, and emotional eating patterns may be replaced with healthier coping mechanisms”.
